Oral Sex

Question:
I am a married person. I want my wife and I to have oral sex but she insists that it is unhygenic. Is there any harm in puting the private parts in the mouth (hygenicly)?

Response:
As-salaamu 'alay-kum wa rahmatullahi wa baarakatu-hu

To my knowledge, there is nothing inherently "unclean" about oral sex.  The key issue is that this type of contact is a mechanism for transmitting certain veneral diseases, and, if both husband and wife are in normal health, there should not be a problem, Insha-Allah.

Her reluctance may be attributed to a lack of information or comfort.  The former issue is easily resolved, the latter issue may require gentle support to try unfamiliar acts.
