Power of Words
Shaikh Abdur Rahman Khan*
Invite
(all) to the way of your Lord with hikmah
wisdom and beautiful exhortation; and argue with them in ways that are best
and most gracious: for your Lord knows best who have strayed from
His Path and who receive guidance.
All
of us are in one way or the other inviting to Allah SWT.

Father to his family member
"And
warn thy tribe of near kindred"
Sahih
Al-Bukhari Hadith
3.733
Narrated
by
Abdullah
bin Umar
That
he heard Allah's Apostle saying, "Everyone of you is a guardian and
is responsible for his charge; the ruler is a guardian and is responsible
for his subjects; the man is a guardian in his family and responsible for
his charges; a woman is a guardian of her husband's house and responsible
for her charges; and the servant is a guardian of his master's property
and is responsible for his charge." I definitely heard the above from
the Prophet and think that the Prophet also said, "A man is a
guardian of his father's property and responsible for his charges; so
everyone of you is a guardian and responsible for his charges."
Say
: "This my way: I do invite unto Allah on evidence clear as the
seeing with one's eyes I and whoever follows me: Glory to Allah! And never
will I join gods with Allah!"
Hikmah comes with experience not just
knowledge.
Sahih
Al-Bukhari Hadith 5.630

Burda
Allah's
Apostle sent Abu Musa and Muadh bin Jabal to Yemen. He sent each of them
to administer a province as Yemen consisted of two provinces. The Prophet
said (to them), "Facilitate things for the
people and do not make things difficult for them. (Be kind and lenient
(both of you) with the people, and do not be hard on them) and give the
people good tidings and do not repulse them."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.146
Narrated by
Anas bin
Malik
The
Prophet said, "Make things easy for the people,
and do not make it difficult for them, and make them calm (with glad
tidings) and do not repulse (them)."
It
is part of the Mercy of Allah that you deal gently with them. Were you
severe or harsh-hearted they would have broken away from you ; so pass
over (their faults) and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and
consult them in affairs (of moment).
Then when you have taken a decision put thy trust in Allah.
For Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him). (3:159)
Understanding
people’s circumstances, moods, peculiarities.
Like a doctor, each patient has his/her own characteristics. One tablet
does not cure all.
People
asked The Prophet of Allah Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him same
question and he gave different answers due to their peculiarities.
Do
not judge by your standards. Judgement is for Allah SWT.
Argue with them in the best manner. No
compulsion in religion.
Say
"The Truth is from your Lord": let him who will believe and let
him who will reject (it):
